Rotary SharesRotary International's theme for this year, Rotary Shares, seems to be a difficult theme for a speech contests. High schools students may research the various Rotary Web sites, www.rotary.org for

This year, July 2007 to June 2008, the Rotary District 5320 Speech Contest theme will be "Rotary Shares." We ask the schools in our District to participate in our Speech Contests throughout our District.
Club contests will take place between December 1 and February 23. Winners of the club contests will compete in 14 Area Contests between Feb 18 and April 12. The winners of the Area Contests will compete at the District Contest on May 3. Four winners will be selected at the District Contest to present their speeches at the Cavalcade of Celebration Event at our May Presidents Meeting on May 6, 2008, where they will receive a plaque and $500 scholarship.
Rotarians, you may contact the school(s) in your area by going to the School Directory. You will need to enter a username and password which you can receive from the District Speech Contest Chair.
Principals, teachers and coaches, you may contact your local Rotary club to determine if the club is holding a Speech Contest by going to the Rotary District Directory. You will need to enter a username and password which you can receive from the District Speech Contest Chair.
